Jessy's Toy Box
Jessy's Toy Box is a non-profit organization that collects toys, gift cards, and other items that help kids that are at the hospital going through infusion treatment or Surgical procedures. This was started by Jessy himself, in 2015.. Our goal is to distribute toys to hospital and infusion centers all over the United States.
The Beginning of Jessy's Toy Box
Jessy's Toy Box was started by our son, James "Jessy" Haberman. Jessy was born with a rare genetic syndrome in 2009. He was no stranger to the hospital, in his 8 years, he had 15 surgeries and 2 infusions. When Jessy was receiving an infusion he received a gift. That gift brought a smile to my son and along came the idea for Jessy's Toy Box.
Sadly Jessy Passed away on February 19, 2018 at 8 years old, after his 2nd open heart surgery. Before he went into surgery Jessy asked "If my heart gets better, can I still do Jessy's Toy Box?" As a promise his parents made, Jessy's Tox Box will continue and grow as Jessy had dreamed of along with the help of others, we will continue to gather and take toys to hospitals.
